Moving On

We rested on Tuesday after our adventurous day before and left Moab on Wednesday. The forecast called for afternoon thunderstorms in the north, so we decided to head out earlier on Wednesday. For the most part we were able to avoid the rain. The drive on Route 6 through the mountains was just beautiful. I am very impressed with Utah so far. The rain caught up with us right before Salt Lake City and we decided to drive through town before rush hour traffic and find a place to stay for the night. We stayed at Lagoon Amusement Park campground for one night and found a good campground for the rest of our stay in Salt Lake City the next day.
