Fun, Fun, Fun

I can not believe how busy we have been since we have gone back to working on weekends only. Last Friday we went to a Iowa Cubs baseball game, which had been organized by Adventureland. Here is a picture of Doug and our neighbors pigging out before the game.

All the employees got to sit in the same section and we actually got welcomed by the announcer.

And of course every good baseball game ends with fireworks!

We ran a bunch of errands on Tuesday. Wednesday we dropped the truck of at the shop to get the air ride system fixed and modified. Doug also wanted to get some stuff changed in the computer and of course the dealer in Dallas had given us the wrong password. However, the guy at the Volvo shop was kind enough to call a buddy of his at US Express and got the correct password and now everything is working the way Doug wants it. Wednesday afternoon we attended the retail department's end of the year potluck dinner. It was held at the "Sandbar", which is a fully stocked bar, at the water park and our bosses were our bartenders.

Can you believe how young my bosses are? I have a feeling this will happen more and more as we are looking for jobs. They sure made some stiff drinks and the food supplied by all was not bad either.

The potluck ended with a drawing for some pretty cool prizes and of course I had to take a picture of the young ones that worked in our department.

Look at them very closely since they are tomorrows leaders and it sure scares me!! I wonder if I was like that a long time ago when I was young. :-)

We spend yesterday waxing the kitchen side of the rig, since it was a cloudy day and did the nose and back today. Tomorrow it is back to work. In a way I am actually looking forward to it, since it is less work than what we did in the last two days. Next week we will tackle installing the rubber seal on the dining room slide and finish waxing the rig. Stay tuned ....
