Our Coach House

It took about three weeks and after a few setbacks the inside of the coach house is finally done.


It is so nice to have a washer and dryer again and do laundry whenever I feel like it. I really did not think it would be a big deal to go to the laundromat every week, but I was so wrong. We are now thinking of also putting a washer/dryer combo in the rig, so I have the same comfort when we are traveling again.



Other than a few minor touch-ups, we are ready to decide what we want to put in the coach house before we leave this spring and what can wait. Since this was not a cheap undertaking, most of the furniture (like TV, lamps and side tables) will wait until we come back for the next winter season, which will be most likely sometime in November. We might put our sleeper couch from the rig in the coach house and get a lighter couch for the rig to ease the strain on the slide before we leave here.

To celebrate the finish of this project, we hosted the "Happy Hour" on Saturday and Tom and Donna (Excel friends of ours) came to visit. A good time was had by all. :-)
